My handphone bill came today. And I was bloody shocked cause the amount showed $51+. I was expecting my normal $26+ cause I AM VERY SURE I did not exceed my 500 sms (yes amazing!) and I made less then 100 min of outgoing calls.
When I read the details, I was damn angry.
Singtel charged me for something I did not use! Yes, I was charged $22.98 for Broadband Data Usage on Mobile. Whatthefish! Who in the sane mind wants to use GPRS on my phone when I can connect it through my WLAN to play Internet right? And I don’t even remember activating my GPRS. That’s the problem!
And so of course, I called up Singtel billing hotline. And asked for clarifications. On the bill, it stated that I used GPRS on 3rd Oct. As I recall back, on 3rd Oct which was on last Saturday, my cousins came for Raya. In the morning, I brought Granny to clinic then tengah hari like that they came, then I fell asleep till 6plus like that. I did not even connect my phone to my WLAN on that day. The only thing I did with my phone was to sms Boyfriend. Yeap, that’s all. Takkan my cousins take my phone and sabo me kan? Yang datang tu semua dah tua bangka pon. Hah!
The Singtel person said maybe my GPRS activate sendiri and I was unaware of it. Of course I fight back lah, who wants to pay for something you never use kan?! Fight fight fight, at last the person said, “Ok. I will waiver it for you this time. Just make sure you deactivate your GPRS once and for all, to prevent this from happening again.”
BAIKKKKKK. My next month bill should be $4+ only lah ok. HAHAHA. Bodo punya Singtel. Haiya.
Anyways, just now went out with Mum. She wants to window-shop. Then, we were at Isetan and she fell in love with this Guess bag. It cost around $80+ I think after discount. She told me to share-share with her the price. But then I told her sorry hor, if I forked out $40 means I’m left with $10 for start of school. Duit rokok jer bedah. Tsk! Ez-link masih belum top-up ni. Dang! So belek punya belek, end up she decided not to buy it. HAHA. Expected la my motherrrr. Belek jer mau lebih!
After that I told her I want to buy new contact lens. But then you know what she said?
“Kau ni, asyik nak beli contact lens jer. Kan buang duit! Pakai specs kan lagi bagus. Bertahun-tahun boleh pakai, tak payah kejap-kejap beli.”
Sialla, heart pain you know. She talked like as if I buy contact lens every month. People use one pair one month, I use one pair for more then 3 months ok. Alhamdullilah, my eyes case tak sensitive punya. She pot pet pot pet like that, end up I got no mood to buy. She dragged me to the shop, but then I just walked away. Majok ah abeh. Hahaha. Takper, next week, next month or what then I buy lor. Or until my eyes really cannot take my current lens anymore.
Tapi kan, dah lepas majok tu sempat I grabbed a bag for $10. HAHAHA. I like!
At night, I made Tomyam Fried Rice for Dad since Mum did not cook. We only bought Double Cheeseburger. Huahuahua. Then I told Dad about my bill. He also tak puas hati. And I told him lah he must help me call Singtel and deactivate my GPRS cause my bill under his name mah.
Macam merepek eh. It’s just a bloody phone call to deactivate my GPRS but I need the owner of the bill voice to verify. Means I can just use any guy voice to act like my father and give him my father’s IC and address or whatever then they can do the deactivation for me. As long as they hear a guy voice. FUNNY EH. HAHA. Aper motive pon aku taktahu. Tsk.
And so yeah, we called up Singtel customer service hotline and all we get was ‘Sorry our customer service officers are still busy/engaged at the moment. Please try again later’ THE WHOLE BLOODY NIGHT. Entah betul sibuk ke hang up the phone ke aku taktahu ah. TAPI IRRIT LAH OK.
Anybody knows if I can deactivate my GPRS online? Help ok. Tankkayu.
